RaNia Electrifies Club Scene in Singapore During Showcase

Rania, one of the female groups to watch out for, heated up Singapore on December 6 with their one day trip for their 'Rania Asia Tour 2012', in Singapore (KRAYON Special Edition). Five of their six members Saem, Riko, Di, T-ae and Xia were in attendance, while Jooyi wasn't able to come due to training, Their most recent tour stop was their second visit to Singapore. The event took place at the funky REBEL Boutique Club.

RaNia started off the evening with a fansign session where VIP ticketholders got the chance to interact personally with the artists. Although their schedule was hectic and tight, RaNia exhibited their genuinely loving and friendly personalities the whole evening. Apart from signing personalized autographs for their fans, they also obliged to fans' request to pose for photos or selcas. In between, they also engaged in short conversations with their fans which was heartwarming.

The excitement intensified around 9.30pm when Rania took center stage at REBEL with their hit debut track "Dr. Feel Good" which was then followed by "Masquerade." Shortly after, it was a Q&A session where they did their routine intros. Through the Q&A session, Rania shared their thoughts about their Singapore fans. Adorable T-ae commented that Singapore fans are really passionate and they are happy that there are more fans now. Leader Saem also confirmed their plans to go to USA in 2013. They said that their true desire is for people all over the world to love their music.

Three lucky fans were also given a chance to each ask a question. As RaNia released only digital singles so far, one fan expressed his wish to buy RaNia albums. To that, Saem replied they will try their best to let everyone buy their next album. Upon hearing Saem's reply, there were enthusiastic screams from the fans saying they will all support their album. Another fan asked about their favourite food. Maknae Xia replied shyly "Ddeokbokki!" (a.k.a Korean rice cake). Fans were also curious if there is anywhere in Singapore Rania would like to visit since this was their second time in Singapore. That was the final question and charismatic Di told their fans that they do not have any time to tour around in both trips unfortunately and asked the fans to recommend places should they be able to come back with more free time. At Di's request, the fans screamed the names of some places of interest in Singapore such as Universal Studios, Merlion. Rania ended this intimate Q&A session by thanking their fans for attending and told them that they hope all will enjoy the show that evening.

After the Q&A session, the other members left the stage, leaving the lead vocalist Riko on the stage. Soulfully, Riko performed her solo ballad "That's Me," which was an OST track from MBC's drama "Hero." After Riko's performance, the other members were back once again on the stage to perform "Pop Pop Pop."

Succeeding their fourth performance, fans were treated to a more interactive game session with Rania. Three lucky fans were picked from the audience and were asked to dance "Pop Pop Pop." Rania sat by the side and cheered for the participants while they danced. As all of them put up their best performances, Rania decided to declare all three to be winners. They were all given an autographed CD, autographed poster and a precious hug from their favourite member in Rania.

The night came to a high but it was also almost time to say "Goodbye." Rania performed their last song for that night as they reached out to their fans by shaking their hands while singing "Goodbye."  When the song ended, Rania waved goodbye to the audience and left the stage. Reluctant to see them leave, fans shouted for an encore. Rania came back on stage shortly after hearing the request for encore and ended the show with "Style."

Rania won over the hearts of those in the audience with their lovely personalities and vibrant and powerful performances that night. With the speed by which Rania are regenerating and ascending to stardom, it will not be long before they also sail the Hallyu wave and surf their own big wave. Memorable moments such as that night at REBEL will be always cherished by those who have sat in their audience.
