"Teen Wolf" season five is only a few months away and as such, the stars of the series have begun to drop hints for what fans can expect in the upcoming episodes.

So far, at least according to Arden Cho's twitter, this season will be the most intense yet.

Recently Malia actress Shelley Hennig has been the most candid about "Teen Wolf" in several new interviews. While she mainly provided information about her character's storyline, she did mention briefly what might be in store for the series protagonist Scott McCall. Apparently, fans will be in store for some unintended effects of Scott's new True Alpha status.

"I'd imagine that there's gotta be some sort of cause and effect of Scott becoming a True Alpha," said Hennig to EW.

"I just don't know if that's going to affect the pack, if that's going to affect the neighborhood, the city, the other packs. I think that's one of the most exciting things, and I personally can't wait to read what that's going to do to the show."

As Hennig plays a character in Scott's inner circle, perhaps this statement is a hint that there will be potentially more scenes featuring Tyler Posey (who plays Scott) taking more initiative as a leader of the group. Additionally, maybe his informal pack will gain some new members to help with the seemingly endless battles to protect Beacon Hills from dangerous supernatural creatures.

As for additional support for Hennig's theory, Tyler Posey has posted quite a few tweets and instagram photos over the past few weeks that imply his strength as a True Alpha is being tested. In fact, recently he mentioned being covered in fake blood for one scene, so in the very least fans can anticipate plenty of action.

Nothing is set in stone however until "Teen Wolf" season five premieres this summer.

"Teen Wolf" is a scripted MTV series following the story of Scott McCall after he is bitten and transformed into a werewolf. Along with his best friend Stiles (Dylan O'Brien), Scott discovers the existence of a multitude of supernatural beings and events and try to protect their loved ones from those who seek to harm.
