Polar Bear Named Milk Is A 440-Pound Bundle Of Fun [VIDEO]

Milk recently arrived at the Kushiro Zoo in northern Japan and she already has a fan base.

The 440-pound polar bear is probably the most playful animal at the small zoo as she gained more than 90,000 fans online through videos of her throwing around an assortment of brightly colored tubes, balls and bucket lids, according to the news outlet 10tv.

“She likes anything new,” stated Kimiya Koga, the zoo’s outreach coordinator.

Milk’s lovable personality has been well-known since her birth in December 2012 at an aquarium in Akita Prefecture, where she reportedly showed a preference for walking on two feet. Playfulness runs in the family for Milk, as her mother, Walnut, was also reportedly as friendly and fun-loving as Milk.

It’s reportedly unusual for polar bears to stay on their hind feet for 10 or 15 steps, just as Milk does.
The way Milk plays is far more energetic than expected.

“I never expected anything like this,” stated Koga.

The video of Milk is on the verge of going viral with more than 100,000 views.

Milk reportedly is most playful when her audience consists of energetic children.

“When kids yell, Milk like to check them out,” stated Koga.

She added, “She tends to be less active when they aren’t around.”
