YG Entertainment has announced that they will be unveiling their new girl group on January 15.

Today, YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun Suk stated that they will be revealing their new group on January 15.

They will soon be uploading videos of the group on the YG website. They also announced that the members that are recognized to the public will debut.

They also stated that some members will be eliminated, including members that were previously released to the public.

The videos of the members of YG's new girl group will be uploaded mid-January followed by final confirmation of members and debut song. Yang Hyun Suk added, "The new girl group is vastly different from existing girl groups. We are currently in discussions for a new promotional strategy."

YG previously revealed Kim Eun Bi from "Superstar K2" and Jenny Kim from G-Dragon's "That XX" music video as members of the group.
