GTA 6 Rumors And Theories: President Leslie Benzies Thinking Of United Maps For Next Installment? Rockstar To Introduce A Female Lead Character

Vice City, San Andreas, Liberty City, And Los Santos, those are just few of the cities "Grand Theft Auto" fans got to see. President Leslie Benzies is thinking big as he wants players to revisit the previous cities and planning to make a consolidated map in the future installments. Also, a girl protagonist is being considered by Rockstar.

According to Latinopost, Benzies was asked what's in store for the future of the franchise, he said, "We've got about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do. We don't know what GTA VI will be, but we've got some ideas."

The setting is central to the story. Benzies explained, "Where it is going to be set is the first question. Then that defines the missions; you're doing different things in LA than in New York or Miami."

Then, because of the fact that there have been a lot of GTA games and with more to come, Rockstar Games is also tinkering of the idea of having a consolidated map for the franchise. Benzies said, "Of course at some point we would like to have one big world containing all our cities and let the player fly between them and revisit their favorite areas."

"Hey, if "Game of Thrones" can have seven kingdoms, why can't GTA have a map of its own universe, right?" He teased.

Though some fans will find that promising, what could be more promising is Rockstar might introduce a heroine as the main protagonist for the next installment.

Dan Houser, co-founder of the company said, "In the future, could we do a game with a lead female character? Of course. We just haven't found the right game for it yet, but it's one of the things we always think about."
