GTX 980 Ti Release Date: Next-Gen GPUs Delayed to 2016 Due to Production Problems

GTX 980 Ti Release Date: The GTX 980 Ti release  date is that it might be moved to next year. 

According to the most recent reports, Nvidia pushed back the GTX 980 Ti release date to 2016.

NVIDIA reportedly announced in January that GTX 980 Ti will be released in limited quantities in April but according to a report in Kdramastars, it will be only be available on the MSI, Asus, EVGA and "their own reference cards" because of the aforementioned production problems. The GTX 980 Ti was expcted to get an initial release December 2014, but problems in production delayed the launch to sometime in 2016

GTX 980 Ti is being called the most advanced GPU "powered by the next-generation Maxwell architecture." The unit promises "incredible performance, unmatched power efficiency and cutting-edge features."

There is no official release date for both the GTX 980 Ti and the GTX 970 8GB variants.

According to WCCFtech, Nvidia is delaying production while they acquiring manufacturing equipment for a subcomponent of the graphics processing unit for the 16nm FinFET. The GTX 980 Ti release was set back three to six months for this.

According to rumors, the GeForce GTX 980 graphics card specs will have DirectX 12.0 and SLI, VXGI, MFAA, GameStream, G-SYNC, GPU Boost 2.0, GeForce Experience, support for SLI, VXGI, MFAA, GameStream, G-SYNC, GPU Boost 2.0, the GeForce Experience, and PhysX. 

GTX 980 Ti in intended for the high-end PC gaming market. Ecumenical News speculated that the GTX 980 Ti will cost between $800 and $1,000.Nvidia takes into account a price hike on the new GeForce GTX Titan single-chip flagship graphics card.

Nvidia has not released exact figures.
There has been no official confirmation from Nvidia about their upcoming GPUs.
