KARA-Girls' Generation Rank High on Japan Yearly Chart TOP 100

Popular girl groups KARA and Girls' Generation have proven their immense popularity in Japan as both landed high scores on Oricon's yearly album chart, making them the highest selling Korean artists in Japan for this year.

Today, Oricon revealed that KARA's album Super Girl from last month sold 295,651 copies and ranked number 18 on the 2012 Oricon Yearly Album Chart Top 100.

Girls' Generation's self-title album that was released in June sold 229,043 copies and ranked number 18 on the chart.

Other K-Pop groups were seen on the chart as well such as Big Bang at 31 and T-ARA at 65.

On the DVD chart Top 50, TVXQ was seen at number 5 and Girls' Generation at number 7.
