Groups Big Bang and 2NE1 was chosen as the 'best concerts of 2012' by the New York Times.

Yesterday, the New York Times website revealed the best concerts of 2012.

The newspaper had released articles on Big Bang and 2NE1's article from their recent concerts back in August and November and had stated that thousands of fans had come to see them. 

Although both teams still have yet to release a hit song in the U.S., their fan base in the U.S. continues to grow.

The New York Times stated that BIg Bang and 2NE1 is evidence of K-Pop's popularity in the U.S. besides "Gangnam Style."
