Viral Adoption [VIDEO] Has A Happy End

Last fall, the Ramona Humane-Society released an adoption video on Facebook that quickly went viral.

In that video, the world was introduced to the sad eyes of Suzie the beagle, and to the joy of the thousands who watched the clip, the puppy has been able to experience a happy ending.

Suzie the beagle has now been adopted by a real family, according to the Huffington Post.

“Suzie is such a special little beagle. She deserved a loving family who could give her the attention she needed to help build her confidence,” stated Maryland SPCA spokesperson Tina Regester.

She added, “We were so excited when Suzie joined the Carter family.”

Suzie had reportedly been at the Maryland SPCA in Baltimore for just a couple days before being picked to be in the viral adoption video. Two days after the video was shot and aired, Suzie reportedly found a family that knew how to appreciate her.

John Carter reportedly visited Suzie as “a Christmas present” to his twins, Brianna and Brian.

“We visited the local SPCA several times searching for a pet, and thought that Suzie’s breed and need to be adopted was attractive to us. And therefore we felt it was a good match for my children and our home,” explained Carter.

Suzie now lives the happy life of a dog that belongs to a family. She reportedly follows Carter around the house during the day until the twins return home and take her for walks and play with her.

“I visited with the family not long ago, and Suzie greeted me with a wagging tail, and looked confident and happy,” stated Regester.

She continued, “When I asked them what they thought when they saw Suzie’s video and hear that people all across the country are seeing it, they couldn’t believe it. They thought it was a good thing that Suzie was helping other pets find homes, and Brian commented that ‘She’s just Suzie to us.’”
