Tom Clancy's The Division release date for Xbox One was will be Dec. 31. Unisoft announced the upcoming open world third-person shooter role-playing video game has no exact release date for PS4 or PC.

Developer Ubisoft revealed teasers about the "Tom Clancy's The Division" gameplay.

According to German PC magazine Gamestar, Ubisoft will keep narratives and film sequences to a minimum and will focus on  an "emergent story" tactic. Design and Trend takes this to mean that the storyline for "Tom Clancy's The Division" won't be a complex read like "Mass Effect,"Tom Clancy's The Division" will follow a storyline based on their own decisions involving game scenarios. There will still be a general script for gamers to follow.

PC Magazine reported that an alpha test for "Tom Clancy's The Division".

Players of "Tom Clancy's The Division" will start from New York City after a deadly smallpox virus outbreak. The Division is an elite, covert ops team trying to put a stop to threats on the U.S. soil, both foreign and domestic while trying to contain the smallpox epidemic to keep the peace.

Ubisoft promises "Tom Clancy's The Division" Xbox One PS4 release will give the players almost unlimited options of play.

Design & Trend reported that "Tom Clancy's The Division," will have a beefy apocalyptic narrative but nothing casual gamers will find too difficult.

"We have tried to make the film sequences to an absolute minimum" to keep the player immersed in the gameplay," Ubisoft's Martin Hultberg was quoted as saying.

Ubisoft took to their website to make an official statement about recent leaks. Gamezone reported that Ubisoft's photos were taken during the pre-alpha testing phase.

"Tom Clancy's: The Division" was initially set to be released for next generation consoles. Ubisoft said it would bring the game to the Microsoft Windows platform if it gets a positive response from the PC gaming community.
