When you leave a dog in a hot car, don’t expect him or her not to protest.

A bulldog that was left in an SUV with its windows up in Eureka, California made sure to express his disapproval of being left in a car by honking so the world could hear his rage, according to Poems United.

“That dog is awesome,” wrote YouTube user snois2.

Fellow social media user laudica commented, “I can’t stop laughing.”

Others attempted to guess what the bulldog was trying to tell his owner.

“Hey owner! Hurry Up! I gotta get home to watch animal planet and poo on the carpet,” joked YouTube user Drew Kelly.

The bulldog has gained quite a fan base for himself with almost 1 million views on YouTube and over 1,000 likes. The video has also brought attention to the fact that dogs shouldn’t be left in a heated car.

“Bulldogs, with their short snouts, are already prone to overheating and breathing problems.” explained one social media user.

The user continued, “The temperature inside a car can easily climb 20 degree in ten minutes which might not sound like much, but again, for a brachycephalic breed like a bulldog, could be very problematic, especially if the owner continued to be delayed.”
