Big Bang To End 3-Year Hiatus With 2015 World Tour

Group Big Bang, who recently revealed that they would be making a comeback this May, has also announced that they would be holding a 2015 world tour.

On Thursday, YG Entertainment posted on their official blog a poster of their 2015 World Tour in Seoul With Naver and revealed that they would be starting the tour in Seoul on April 25 and 26.

Their previous world tour in 2012 was held in 12 countries and met with 800,000 fans.

This year’s world tour will continue on until 2016 as they head to 15 countries, 70 performances and meet with 1,400,000 fans. They will be visiting countries such as Japan, China, Southeast Asia, US and other locations to meet with their fans.

As big as this tour is, they have also recruited world class staff to be a part of this production.

Roy Bennett, who has worked with Beyonce, Lady Gaga and other top stars, will be the creative director for this tour. Ed Burke who worked as a videographer for Beyonce, will also be a co-creative director as well.

After many months of teasing and rumors, leader G-Dragon revealed during the Chanel Haute Couture show in Paris in January that they would be making a comeback.

“I’m working on my group’s new album and we will begin a world tour starting in April,” G-Dragon told Women’s Wear Daily posted on Koreaboo on Jan. 27.

Tickets for their Seoul concert will be available to purchase starting next Monday through Gmarket.
