SM Entertainment rookie idols Red Velvet won their fifth trophy. The new K-pop girl group picked up another trophy for their sophomore single "Ice Cream Cake." 

On Mnet music program "M! Countdown" aired on Thursday, Red Velvet performed their new song "Ice Cream Cake" and won first place.

This season is Red Velvet's first time winning first place after their debut, making it even more significant. The members went around and thanked their agency, family, and fans.

"Ice Cream Cake" is an electronic pop song that portrays the nervousness of a girl who had fallen in love.
