U.S Billboard analyzed the reason for Lee Seung Gi's constant popularity.

Recently, Billboard posts an article titled, 'K-Pop Hot 100: Lee Seung Gi Makes Chart History'.

They stated, "He has ranked number 1 for 6 weeks, creating a new record for the 'K-Pop Hot 100'. He has beat other artists such as Psy and IU who have ranked number 1 for 5 weeks in the past."

They also stated that his album was released during the holiday season and that it was rare for artists to release at that time. It can be said that his popularity increased then because there was less competition.

Lee Seung Gi is also quite famous for commercials in Korea. He has been chosen as the most wanted model for commercials in Korea. 

His song, "Looking Back" was released on December 3 and has been number 1 on the K-Pop Hot 100 for the past 6 weeks.
