People Are Still Watching ‘First Kiss,’ Making It Most Successful Viral Ad Ever [VIDEO]

The video “First Kiss” was uploaded on March 10, 2014, but the beautiful clip hasn’t stopped garnering views.

The 3 minute 28 second video, which was filmed and uploaded by Tatia Pilieva, is actually an ad, unbeknownst to many who watched and fell in love with the “short film,” according to the website news.com.au.

The film was reportedly created by a small clothing company, Wren, and is now the most successful viral ad in the history of the internet with over 100 million views and 471,946 likes and counting.

“When I first thought of ‘First Kiss,’ where strangers would be asked to kiss for the first time in front of cameras, I couldn’t decide if it was the best idea I’d ever had or the worst,” wrote Pilieva for her Huffington Post piece explaining the story behind “First Kiss.”

The filmmaker continued, “Instinctually I knew that if we did this project, we’d need to approach it as a documentary to capture the intimacy and we’d have to control it visually to catch the unpredictable nature of what was gong to happen in front of the camera.”

“First Kiss” features 20 strangers kissing for the first time and has been bringing joy all around nearly a year after it was shared with the world.

“This video makes me smile,” commented YouTube user TweetFlock.

Social media user Priscila Santos wrote, “Its so beautiful. Love is love. I’m proud of these people. Equal Love.”
