ASAP Rocky New Album Done And Ready To Be Released Soon; ‘Long Live ASAP’ Follow Up To Feature Surprise Collaborations

Following up to the highly acclaimed "Long Live ASAP" LP, ASAP Rocky is expected to release a new album this year, as reports claimed that he is done with recording and that the record is expected to come out soon.

In a report by Billboard, his sophomore album, entitled "A.L.L.A." will be released before the year ends as the LP is undergoing mastering.

"Honestly, it's finished," Rocky said. "I'm mastering it right now. It's coming soon. Seriously soon."

Following the surprise releases seen with different artists in the scene including Kendrick Lamar, the rapper assured fans that he would also surprise fans with the content of his disc.

"I don't consider it a surprise -- you put it out there and it's art, that's the surprise," he said in the exclusive interview. "I hope people are surprised by my album. I don't know what to expect, I just do what I do."

Furthermore, ASAP Rocky revealed that his new album would feature a more musical look into it and would feature a more intellectual side often ignored in his previous works.

"People really don't know the other side of me," the 26-year-old artist claimed. "The deeper side, the more musical side, the more intellectual side. When I first came on the scene it was more of this trendy, bourgeois, pizazz attitude. That's still me but at the end of the day I think that kind of overshadowed the whole purpose of me doing what I do. I'm an incredibly diverse artist, I'm a universal artist. At least that's how I see it."

He also revealed that a number of artists are expected to collaborate on his new album, which includes his crew A$AP Ferg, Twelvyy, Illz, Ant and Nas.

"I got one for you. [Long pause] Illz is thinking right now, like, "You know who it is!" Uh... [Long pause] Alright, fine. Three years ago, I did a song with Twigs. Also Lykke Li. Juicy J [who appears on single "Multiply"]. Clams Casino. I can't give nothing else away."
