With her due date drawing near, Kate Middleton's baby is sparking a name guessing frenzy among fans of the royal family. Even if the sex of the baby has not been confirmed, people have been weighing in on what they think the baby's name will be.

Plenty of people seem to believe that the baby is a girl, especially after news broke out that the Duchess of Cambridge ordered several pink paint samplers from Anne Sloan to be delivered at her home in Sandringham.

Those who believe that Kate and William's second baby is a girl have even gone out and placed a wager on the name of the baby. British bookmakers William Hill reported that the name "Alice" is the frontrunner among those who are placing bets on the royal baby's name. Some of these wagers have gone as $700.

Other betting houses such as Ladbrokes also report that "Alice" is the most popular name that people are staking their money on. "Elizabeth," "Charlotte," and "Victoria," were some of the names on the list.

According to People, a spokesman for Ladsbroke said, "The support for Alice is relentless, and we've been left with no option but to take the scissors to the odds."

However as mentioned, there have been no official announcements or confirmations yet for the baby's gender. So just in case Prince George will have a baby brother instead of sister, the betting houses also report that several boys names are also listed. The popular names were "James," "Arthur," "Henry," "Charles" and "Thomas."

For his part, Prince William has revealed that having a second baby will be a different experience from having the first one. In a visit to a youth charity, the royal couple chatted with the public about their thoughts on their upcoming baby.

"They say that number one is a life changer and that number two is a game-changer," the 32-year-old prince shared after he and Kate visited the XLP Arts Project at Christ Church in London.
