American Horror Story Season 5 Cast Update: Guess who's checking into the hotel on this season's American Horror Story. The "baddest bad girl of them all." Sarah Paulson is returning to AHS for season 5.

"I so fuckeeeen HAPPY to be able to finally tell you: IM BAAAAAACCK!! #AHSHotel," Sarah Paulson wrote to Twitter.

Paulson has been part of the cast for every season of AHS. She joins pop star and "monster" Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, who guest-starred in one episode of "Freak Show," series returnee Kathy Bates, Chloe Sevigny, Wes Bentley, and Cheyenne Jackson for the new season.

Paulson will also appear in Murphy's other anthology series, "American Crime Story: The People v. OJ Simpson," as prosecutor Marcia Clark.

Paulson has been nominated for two Emmys for her appearances on the "American Horror Story" "Asylum" and "Coven" seasons. Paulson played conjoined twins Bette and Dot on "Freak Show", the witch Cordelia Foxx on "Coven", reporter Lana Winters  on "Asylum and psychic medium Billie Dean Howard on "Murder House."

"It doesn't get stale," Paulson People magazine in an interview. "It's a very exciting way to work. I'd love to be on a TV show for seven years, but putting on the same suit every day for seven years might piss me off. I could never have dreamed up the characters I've played on this."

Jessica Lange will not be returning to the anthology series. Frances Conroy, Dennis O'Hare and Lily Rabe, have not yet confirmed whether they will return. Evan Peters told fans at Paleyfest that he wasn't sure whether he would be returning or not.

"American Horror Story: Hotel" is produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television. The series will begin production in the late summer. American Horror Story's 13-episode season will  debut on FX in October.
