Will Girls' Generation become the next Psy?

Girls' Generation's new album that was released on January 1 has been gaining much attention overseas. Many foreign media have also been praising their new song, "I Got a Boy."

Just as Psy received much praise from other celebrities last year, Girls' Generation has also been receiving much praise from media and news sites.

Although there have been a few times where U.S. media has stated K-Pop, this is the first time they have continuously written about one K-Pop group.

The media all state that Girls' Generation has branched out of their comfort zone and has brought a new sound to the music industry.

Billboard stated that their new song featured a mix of different genres of music that made it catchy and fun.

TIMES also stated that this song could be a rival against Psy's "Gangnam Style."

They also received 3 and a half stars from the Rolling Stones magazine.

With many people praising and bringing the spotlight over to Girls' Generation, it is only a matter of time before they become a well known group in the U.S. as well.
