Hip hop group Baechigi's new album has ranked number 1 on music charts.

This is their first album in 9 months and the team seems to be surprised at the unexpected attention.

They released their new album yesterday with their title song, "Shower of Tears."

It is currently number 1 on Melon, Bugs and other real-time charts.

They commented, "We don't know what is going on. We are so shocked at the sudden attention."

Their title song is a hip-hop ballad and features rookie singer Ailee.

They will be holding a fan meeting on January 19-20 to celebrate the release of their new album.
