'Argo' Actor Victor Garber Announces He's Gay

Actor Victor Garber, whose movie and television credits include Alias, Titanic, and Argo, has confirmed that he is gay.

Garber, who recently was in Pasadena, California for the TV Critics Association Press Tour, was asked by "Greg in Hollywood" blogger Greg Hernandez, "Wikipedia lists Rainer Andreesen as your partner. I wondered if that's something that's public, that you've confirmed."

It was reported that Garber seemed surprised by the question but replied, "I don't really talk about it but everybody knows. He's going to be out here with me for the SAG Awards."

However, this isn't the first time the 63-year-old Canadian has mentioned his partner. In April 2012, Garber told Forever Young News, "My companion [Andreesen] and I have been together almost 13 years in Greenwich Village. We both love New York."

According to reports, Andreesen is a model and an artist.

Just two days ago, Hollywood legend Jodie Foster made headlines for coming out at the 2013 Golden Globes while accepting her Cecil B DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award. In her speech, she spoke about how she came out a long time ago, but that she didn't do it with a "fragrance and a reality show."
