SBS "K-Pop Star 2" has held the record for being the 'best' and 'first' in many aspects. This audition program is creating a new history for audition programs everywhere.

"K-Pop Stars 2," which started last year in November, received an overwhelming response just 2 months after the show started.

The plays of the contestant's performances reached many views and songs sung on the show made an 'all-kill' on music charts.

Reaching over a 100,000 views is even hard for artists out there, but for the contestants of the show made it over this number in the matter of days.

Raccoon Boys made a record for reaching over 100,000 views in just 18 hours.

First Audition Program to Release Contestant's Self-Composed Song

Akdong Musician, who is known as the genius duo, has performed self-composed songs every round and has ranked number 1 on search engines. 

Right after the release of their songs, they made an 'all-kill' on various online music sites.

It is a first to see a group that has not debuted yet to make an 'all-kill' on the charts with their own songs.

First to have the Youngest 'TOP 10'

Young contestants seem to be making it big on this show this season. Kim Min Jung, who is only 11 years old, showed off advanced dance skills that shocked the judges.

It would be no surprise to see the 'TOP 10' be consisted of younger contestants.

Ranks Number 1 for Viewer Rating

The January 13 episode reached a 14% viewer rating, easily beating the other competing show during that time slot.
