Jessa Duggar is confirmed to be pregnant with her first child with husband Ben Seewald. People magazine was the first to break the news that the "19 Kids And Counting" star was expecting her first baby.

"We're expecting!" Jessa told the source cited above. "We are so excited."

"The due date is November first, our wedding anniversary." Ben added "We are looking forward to being parents." 

Jessa is reportedly in her second trimester and will be giving a special message to their fans on the newest episode of "19 Kids And Counting" which airs on the Travel and Lifestyle Channel.

"I am feeling pretty good," Jessa shared with the magazine. "The morning sickness was different every day."

"It's getting better, but I'm still hanging on to the heartburn," the 22-year-old continued. "And I don't have any super serious food cravings." 

Also according to the source, the couple found out about the pregnancy one Sunday right before heading off to church. Jessa took Ben aside and showed him the pregnancy test that confirmed that she was pregnant.

"I said, 'Hey Ben, guess what? Yeah, you're a dad.' We couldn't believe it," Jessa shared. "We are so excited. We have started talking baby names, it is one of those things that is so special, picking a name for a baby." 

But even if they are expecting their first biological child, the couple are still pushing through with their plans to adopt. "Our hearts haven't changed on adoption," Jessa shared. "We are still making plans." 

Right now, both Jessa and Ben are focusing on preparing their hearts in the task of becoming parents.

"We are trying to take it one day at a time," Ben revealed. "We pray every night that God helps us be good parents. We are getting advice from other parents." 

As reported earlier this month, Jessa's older sister Jill gave birth to a son who they named Israel David.

"I am not comparing, not worrying about what could happen, we are just getting prepared," Jessa said. "I think having this first year together to share our lives, just the two of us, has been special."
