TVXQ is First International Artist to Rank Number 1 Twelve Times on Japan Oricon Chart, 'Global Stars'
Group TVXQ has topped the Oricon charts 12 times in a row, making them he first international artist to do so.
On January 16, TVXQ released their Japan single, Catch Me-If You Wanna, and ranked number 1 on the Oricon Daily and Weekly Charts. This made it their 12th time ranking number 1 on the weekly single chart.
The main focus is that they are the first international artist who debuted in Japan to do so.
Their Catch Me-If You Wanna album was originally released in Korea last year and released different country versions, showing their global popularity.
TVXQ also plans to release a new album, TIME, on March 6.
They will also be holding an arena tour and continue on to the domes in Japan starting in April.
