'Hallyu stars' Girls Generation's new song, "I Got a Boy" has been gaining much attention in Japan.

On today's Oricon chart, it revealed that Girls' Generation ranked number 7 on the weekly chart. The album, which was released on January 9, sold 15,828 copies.

Girls' Generation did not hold any official promotions in Japan and yet they received much love and support from fans.

Group 2AM was also seen on the chart at number 10.
