Lindsay Lohan has threatened to have her mother arrested by the police.

According to TMZ, the actress has discovered that her mother Dina Lohan had been selling off her things to people that she knew, and also on the Internet. Among those Dina put up for sale were Lindsay's clothes, furniture, and several pieces of art.

Previously, the "Mean Girls" actress transferred her things to her mother's garage for safekeeping, while she was busy filming her documentary for the Oprah Winfrey channel. According to the report, Dina Lohan assumed that the things were hers already because they have been stored in her home.

From London where the 28-year old actress is located now, she called on her friends to rescue the rest of her belongings before her mother could sell them off.

This is the latest thing to cause a rift between the mother and daughter. Previously, it was reported that Lindsay was angry when she found out that her mother was in the final stages of talks to star in Celebrity Big Brother Britain in the coming summer.

"Lindsay flipped and began screaming [when she heard], saying she had no right to come to England," the source said.

Earlier this year, the two were on the same side, as they filed a case against Fox News. The mother and daughter filed a defamation suit against talk show host Sean Hannity and TV celebrity Michelle Fields. Last year, Field accused Lindsay and Dina of "doing cocaine" together, grouping them with famous stars who also did drugs, such as Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse.

According to Us Weekly, Lindsays lawyer, Mark Jay Heller, issued the following statement:"During the show's broadcast, Ms. Fields inappropriately and shockingly stated, unequivocally and as a matter of fact, that 'Lindsay Lohan's mom is doing cocaine with her' - which statement is false."
