Kate Middleton was spotted behind the wheel driving back to Buckingham Palace, even at nine months pregnant and at least four days past her baby number 2's due date - is there anything Prince William's wife can't do? Rumor has it that Kate Middleton is trying to induce labor by heading to the swimming pool every day.

According to the Daily Mail, Kate Middleton was photographed leaving a swimming session in the Buckingham Palace pool with 21 month-old George yesterday, and Kate was again spotted driving into Buckingham Palace and is believed to have gone swimming again today. Kate was seen driving herself into the Queen's London residence earlier today, sources revealed.

"Swimming is considered to be excellent exercise for pregnant women as the buoyancy of the water supports their bodies - and may even help to stimulate labour," the Daily Mail reports.

We wouldn't be surprised - Kate's due date is believed to have been on Saturday, meaning she's four days past her due date. Additionally, today is her and Prince William's fourth wedding anniversary so she's likely ready to pop out baby number 2!

The pair later returned to Kensington Palace together.

The Daily Mail also speculates that because the Duchess is continuing to go about her day to day routine at such a late stage in her pregnancy, it's likely she will be induced.

Additionally, this morning Westminster City Council lengthened the suspension of parking restrictions outside the private Lindo Wing at St Mary's Hospital, Paddington, where Kate is due to give birth to baby number 2. The parking restrictions were extended by another five days.

A spokesman for the council said: "The parking restrictions will be extended at the moment for the next five days until May 5. If there is still no news by then it will be extended again.

"The signs will be amended possibly today, if not tomorrow morning."
