Upcoming KBS' drama "You're The Best Lee Soon Shin" confirmed both IU and Jo Jung Suk to star as a couple.

Today KBS confirmed both to appear in the series, which is about the hardship that unfolds for a mother and daughter, Lee Soon Shin who remains bright and strong despite her situations. The drama wishes to offer a message of hope to the viewers.

"You're The Best Lee Soon Shin" marks IU's first lead role in two years and second drama after "Dream High." IU explained her reason for starring in the drama, "I enjoyed reading the script and felt drawn to Lee Soon Shin character. When offered the role, I felt some pressure as this is an important role however felt strongly I will do a good job which led me to decide to accept the offer."

Jo Jung Suk was also confirmed to join the cast as male lead, for the role of Shin Jun Ho as a director of an agency. He plays a confident, cold-hearted businessman and changes after meeting Lee Soon Shin.

"You're The Best Lee Soon Shin" is to begin premiering this March.
