'Batman V Superman' Actor Henry Cavill Takes 'Power' To The Seas; Gina Carano's Ex Clarifies 'Dawn Of Justice' Being 'Man Of Steel' Sequel

Henry Cavill's persona might be able to fly faster than the speeding bullet, but the "Batman V Superman" star was quite content steering a multi-million dollar ferry across a channel on Wednesday.

"He was steering Condor's new state-of-the-art Liberation ferry briefly during the four-and-a-half hour crossing," Daily Mail reported. "He was returning Jersey for the annual rugby tournament - the Siam Cup - where the actor will be representing the Durrell Conservation Trust, a global conservation charity, at the event."

Gina Carano's ex-boyfriend was quite at home at the captain's bridge sporting a full beard and a green sweater.

"Henry is a special guest at the Jersey Rugby Club's Ipes Siam Club clash with Guernsey on Saturday," a spokesperson for Condor said. "He is an ambassador for Durrell, which is holding a fundraising day to coincide with the Siam Cup."

Meanwhile, in one interview, the former boyfriend of Gina Carano clarified that the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" is not a sequel to the 2013 film, "Man of Steel."

When Henry Cavilll was asked during a press tour whether the film with Ben Affleck will follow the events after "Man of Steel," he said, "I wouldn't call this a Superman sequel. This is Batman versus Superman, so it's a separate entity altogether."

"It's introducing the Batman character, and expanding upon this universe, which was kicked off by Man of Steel. It's an introduction to the [Batman] character, and ultimately an introduction to 'Justice League,'" Gina Carano's ex explained.

Henry Cavill also claimed that he's just like anyone else when it comes to seeing the trailer for "Batman V Superman."

"I'm hoping to see it [the whole movie] some time this year, for a friend's and family screening or something. But I really know nothing about what the finished product looks like," Henry Cavill added.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is scheduled to hit the theaters on March 25, 2016.
