Super Smash Bros 4 DLC Improves Mewtwo Character Gameplay Glitch: Wii U And 3DS DLC Update Features

The recently-released DLC update patch for Super Smash Bros 4 improves gameplay glitches associated with the Mewtwo character.

The update takes up 21mb and 1,715 blocks on the Nintendo Wii U and 3DS consoles respectively.

Super Smash Bros 4 video game director Masahiro Sakurai revealed in a recently-written column that creating fighter characters for the game's Wii U and 3DS DLC is a "huge undertaking."

"It's a huge undertaking to create a fighter, so I think we can't make them in large quantities," she wrote in Famitsu

"I'd also like to feel refreshed when the project is over. However, since we have decided to tackle [DLC] once, I'd like to offer as much fun [content] as possible. It will take a while from now, but please look forward to it."

Super Smash Bros 4 characters for the Wii U and the 3DS include Nerf Diddy Kong, according to a patch notes posted by fans on Reddit.

The recent update was rumored to include Banjo-Kazooie in its characters list.

"Nintendo is holding a poll for the next Smash Bros DLC, and Banjo is a popular choice! It would mean so much if you could get him in," Twitter user PedroDarkinson asked Microsoft's Phil Spencer via the social media network.

"I think it would be cool if Banjo was in the next SSB DLC.  We've worked with Nintendo on Rare IP before, no issues," Phil Spencer responded.
