Kate Middleton's Public Appearance With Baby Girl Sends Social Media Into Frenzy; What Were The Reactions?

A few hours after giving birth to the second royal baby, Kate Middleton and Prince William stepped out of the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's hospital in London to present Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana to the world.

The Duchess of Cambridge was wearing a yellow dress as she carried her newborn baby in her arms. It was reported that her glam team rushed in soon after she delivered Princess Charlotte, in order to get her ready for the press who were waiting outside.

The Princess' "flawless and fresh" look, as labeled by fans, provoked plenty of reactions from people all over the world, who took to social media to express their feelings about seeing Kate's appearance just hours after she gave birth.

People magazine gathered the reactions, on social media, which ranged from "jealousy, surprise, respect and admiration of moms all over the Internet who couldn't believe how incredible the new mum looked just moments after the excruciating (and sweaty and messy) act of pushing a baby out of your body.".

"Awk I wish I looked like Kate Middleton after giving birth. I was more like prince Charles," tweeted Christine Framption.

Meanwhile, another Twitter user, Linz DeFranco  (@LinzDeFranco) recalled how messed up she looked after she delivered her own baby. "How was Kate Middleton walking around (and looking PERFECT) 10 hrs after giving birth?!? I couldn't walk & looked like a mental patient."

Another user gave props to the glam team that had Kate looking so beautiful after undergoing labor. "12 hours after I gave birth I was wearing maternity pjs and crying for the nurse to help. Respect to Kate and her blow dry," tweeted Helen Farmer(@Helen_DXB). 

Others were sympathetic to the Duchess. "Poor Kate. If I had pushed a baby out I would like to be asleep," @nimkoali tweeted.

According to reports, Kate spent just two hours in labor at the St. Mary's Hospital in Paddington London. According to a report by Us Weekly, Kate did not have to have an epidural, and she delivered the baby normally. She weighed 8 pounds and 3 ounces.
