Women are commonly seen apologizing for not wearing make up or looking like “a mess.”

YouTube star and comedian, Lilly, also known as Superwoman, recently posted a video about “the greatest realization of life” regarding this specific issue.

“I try my best to be a really nice person, really kind to people, and hardworking,” explained Lilly in the video, which was uploaded last week.

“That’s what makes me pretty, not the makeup on my face.”

The clip has garnered more than 900,000 views and over 11,000 likes and counting.

For those who don’t know her, Lilly is a YouTube star with over 5 million subscribers on the video-sharing website. She posts videos every Monday and Thursday and is preparing to go on a world tour in the near future.

“I’m going to make a conscious effort to not apologize for looking like myself,” wrote Lilly.

“I love make up but that doesn’t mean I’m any less without it. I have acne, dark circles and more. I’m okay with that and I love my face.”

Lilly’s recent video has become an inspiration for many social media users as well.
