'Dragon Ball Super' Release Date Confirmed; Plot Set To Pick Up After 'Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection Of F'

News about the upcoming "Dragon Ball Super" series hav been making the headines as of late, this is after it was announced that there will indeed be a new series to come out on after 18 years of being in hiatus.

Toei animation announced that the release date for the "Dragon Ball Super" will happen this coming July, and it has since excited fans all over the world.

Also announced by its makers, the series has moved forward to conduct its production phase to meet the release date. Produced by Fuji television and Akira Toriyama, the upcoming series will make sure to reach the fans' high expectations.

According to the people behind Toei Animation, the plot for the latest TV series from the "Dragon Ball" franchise, will be picking up after the events of the recently released film, "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of 'F,'" which has been reported to have surpassed the sales of it's predecessor, "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods" in a short amount of time since its release, particularly 19 days, Forbes reported.

The said movie has also been reported to have sold around 2.35 million tickets in 658 screens and earned 3.1 billion yen, which is around $26 million; a big difference compared to the film before it, which only earned 2.9 billion yen, which is approximately at $24 million.

According to fans, this statistic is a good indicator of how the fans will receive the upcoming "Dragon Ball Super" series, given that it will begin after the events of the film.

Said to be focusing on the fight between Majin Buu and Goku, the series will only be available for screening in Japan, but fans all over the world are hoping that they too will be able to get to watch the said series even through the internet.
