Fashion Police News: Former Host Kelly Osbourne Moves On After Giuliana Rancic – Zendaya Coleman Controversy; Thanks Mom Sharon Osbourne For Her Support

"Fashion Police" news reported how former host Kelly Osbourne has moved on after the show's Giuliana Rancic - Zendaya Coleman controversy. According to a report from E!Online, the former "Fashion Police" host chose to focus on her family, especially her mom, Sharon Osbourne.

"My mom gave up so much for me and my brother," Kelly Osbourne gushed. "I can't even put that into words."

Kelly Osbourne admitted that Sharon Osbourne can "drive her nuts" with how she knows so much about everything.

"It comes with the years -- that's all," Sharon Osbourne said. "I've been around a long time."

Kelly Osbourne has been less busy after her departure from "Fashion Police" made news earlier this week. Her less hectic schedule has allowed her to write a tribute to her mother in a book "A Letter to My Mom."

"I couldn't be me without you, and that's the truth," Kelly Osbourne wrote in the book.

Sharon Osbourne was one of the first to defend her daughter after her "Fashion Police" resignation made news a few months ago. Kelly Osbourne quit "Fashion Police" following negative news reports of Giuliana Rancic, who made jokes about Zendaya Coleman.

The teen star and friend of Kelly Osbourne was dissed by Giuliana Rancic after she wore dreadlocks during the 2015 Oscars.

The statuesque mainstay's joke about how Zendaya Coleman "must have smelled like patchouli oil or weed" was criticized by viewers worldwide. The backlash reportedly caused Kelly Osbourne to quit the show along with Kathy Griffin.

According to a report from The Wrap, Sharon Osbourne took to Twitter to share how she supported her daughter's resignation from "Fashion Police."

"@KellyOsbourne, I am so proud of you," Sharon Osbourne wrote on Twitter. "You can never be bought. You always wear your heart on your sleeve."

Even though Giuliana Rancic eventually apologized for her jokes about Zendaya Coleman, Kelly Osbourne stood by her decision to quit "Fashion Police."

"It takes a strong women to apologize & makes a forgiving women even stronger! #ThisTooShallPass," Kelly Osbourne tweeted.
