The feud between former One Direction bandmates Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson is still on. Malik's music producer, Naughty Boy has spoken up about Louis Tomlinson in a new interview.

"Louis needs to shut his mouth," the music producer said in an interview with The Sun, as transcribed by Teen. "He is just a child."

"He's messing with a sleeping lion and you shouldn't have woken up a sleeping lion as you are only going to regret it," Naughty Boy continued. "I don't know Louis, so I can only base my judgement on what he says and he is acting like a 12-year-old."

"Louis should be supporting Zayn," he declared. "I've been the one looking after Zayn since he left One Direction."

"It's not fair for the fandom to go for us because we haven't done anything," he added. "I'm not prepared to be the brunt of everything as everyone needs to wait for the real story to come out and then they will realize."

For his part, Louis responded to the "sleeping lion" comment by posting "Roar!" on his Twitter page.

The feud between Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson started when Naughty Boy posted a photo of himself and Zayn Malik that was heavily filtered. Louis replied to this posted photo, making fun of how the producer used a filter. "Remember when you were 12 and you used to think those Mac filters for your pictures were cool haha! Some people still do HA!," Louis wrote.  

Naughty Boy shot back at the One Direction member with this tweet: "@Louis_Tomlinson and some people can't even sing... but who's complaining when there's auto tune eh." Louis then replied, "Jesus forgot you were such an in demand producer... How does it feel to be riding on the back of someone else's career?"

Several other tweets were exchanged, until Zayn Malik stepped in and tweeted to Louis: "@Louis_Tomlinson remember when you had a life and stopped making bitchy comments about mine?"

Fans were affected by the feud and aimed their displeasure at Zayn and Naughty Boy, which prompted the duo to defend themselves.
