‘Ted 2’ Update: Final Score On Mila Kunis; Film's Release Date Scheduled On June 26

One of the most anticipated films this June is "Ted 2," which is set for a June 26 release date. The first film was warmly received by fans for its humor and likeable characters. But in the second installment, it looks like fan favorite Mila Kunis will be missing in action.

When fans got their first glimpse on the film's trailer, Mila Kunis was nowhere to be found. Later on, it was revealed that the reason why she cannot join is due to her pregnancy. (Via Eonline)

"A little thing called 'a pregnancy' got in the way of me and production. But I wish them all the best, and I'm sure the movie will be hysterical,' Kunis said.

Although that might sound as a bummer to some fans, what's important is that Mila Kunis and Seth MacFarlane remain in good terms. Granted that there will be "Ted 3," fans might just get to see Mila Kunis back. (Per Deadline)

"It looks like Mila Kunis will only appear in a tiny role, if at all, in the sequel. I'm told this has nothing to do with anything other than a creative decision that MacFarlane decided to take with the plotting of the sequel. He and Kunis remain close, I'm told, and she continues to provide the voice of Meg in MacFarlane's Family Guy."

Meanwhile, here is the film's synopsis courtesy of IMDB.

"Newlywed couple Ted and Tami-Lynn wants to have a baby, but in order to qualify to be a parent, Ted will have to prove he's a person in a court of law."

Also, "Ted 2" will feature new cast members in Amanda Seyfried, Morgan Freeman, and Liam Neeson. Tom Brady is set for a cameo appearance.
