Jennifer Hudson, Sandy Hook Choir, 'AMAZING' At Super Bowl Kickoff Pre-Game

Jennifer Hudson and the Sandy Hook Elementary School choir helped kickoff the Super Bowl 2013 games with a performance of "America the Beautiful." The Grammy winning artist didn't miss note with her powerful voice. Fans in the audience were touched by the Sandy Hook students singing. 

"Jennifer Hudson DELIVERED and looked amazing. I love that they gave those kids a meaningful and positive moment to remember," one fan wrote on Twitter shortly after the performance. 

"That Sandy Hook/Jennifer Hudson combo was as good as any pregame ive ever seen," another fan posted.

Alicia Keys took the stage shortly after Jennifer Hudson. The "Girl on Fire" singer performed the National Anthem to official launch the Super Bowl 2013 games. 

Keys joins a list of many other stars who have also had the honor of singing at the Super Bowl. Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Diana Ross, Kelly Clarkson, Natalie Cole, Faith Hill, and Billy Joel are among the many entertainers who have graced the Super Bowl stage.

Super Bowl 2012 became the most-watched television program in history with 111.3 million viewers in the US.
