K-Drama OST Roundup: Lee Seung Chul Sings 'Darling' For 'The Producers' Soundtrack

On May 15, KBS released the first song from the highly anticipated original soundtrack for "The Producers." Lee Seung Chul lends his voice to the uptempo rock ballad, which was released on a preview of the upcoming soundtrack. He tenderly sings "Darling" over a bright keyboard melody.

"The Producers" premiered on May 15, with an episode which blended variety show shots with K-Drama plot lines. Kim Soo Hyun stars as Baek Seung Chan, a rookie variety show producer-director who abandoned a career in prosecution to follow his crush. His inexperience is abhorred by his co-workers, which include veteran producers Ra Joon Mo (Cha Tae Hyun) and Tak Ye Jin (Gong Hyo Jin).

Ye Jin is a prickly music variety show producer, who becomes frustrated with Cindy (IU), an entitled K-pop idol. The first episode delivered promises of romance between Cindy and Seung Chan, which should delight "Dream High" fans.

Rising rookie band Jannabi sing the infectious title track for "Ex-Girlfriend Club." The group previously appeared on part 2 of the "Let's Eat 2" original soundtrack.

"Ex-Girlfriend Club" premiered on May 8. The romantic comedy stars "Running Man" cast member Song Ji Hyo and Byun Yo Han. Song Ji Hyo portrays Kim Soo Jin, a producer who desperately needs to save a struggling film company. Byun has a strong film career but recently attracted attention from K-Drama fans for his role in the hit office comedy, "Misaeng." Former T-ARA member Hwayoung also stars in the series, which focuses on the exploits of ex-girlfriends who come together to confront a web comic artist whose work is in the process of film adaptation.

Ha Neul Hae pairs up with Kong Bo Kyung to deliver the tender pop ballad "Butterfly" for the "Warm and Cozy" soundtrack.

"Warm and Cozy" premiered on May 13, marking the screenwriting return of the Hong Sisters. "Warm and Cozy," which is also referred to as "Jeju Island Gatsby," stars Yoo Yeon Seok (Reply 1994) and Kang Sora (Misaeng) as an unlikely pair who are drawn together on Jeju Island. The beautiful scenery serves as a picturesque backdrop for their budding romance.

R&B vocalist K.Will also appeared on the original soundtrack with "Thank U.
