Woman Gets Face Tattoo After First Date

While you may have had your fair share of crazy first dates, it is unlikely that any of them concluded with you agreeing to a face tattoo.

But that is exactly what happened when Belgium-based tattoo artist Ruslan Toumaniantz met his new 18-year-old girlfriend Lesya of Saransk, Russia in January. Less than 24 after their first date, Toumaniantz inked a tattoo of his first name across his Lesya's face in five-inch Gothic script.

"It's a symbol of our eternal devotion. I'd like him to tattoo every inch of my body," Lesya told The Huffington Post.

Lesya and Toumaniantz initially met online, before agreeing to meet up in Moscow. And for anyone wondering if the relationship would last as long as the tattoo, the couple became engaged on January 20-a week after their infamous first date.

"Their plans for a life together include her learning to tattoo while she also gets the full-body ink that she's always dreamed of, and of course a family." explained an unnamed friend.

The friend stuck up for Lesya's decision, arguing that just because someone makes a quick decision doesn't mean it's a bad decision.

"I know that there are people who are terrified that Lesya has made a rash decision that she'll regret horribly, but sometimes the best decisions are the ones you make in an instant with your heart rather than the ones long-debated in your mind," the friend said.

The incident is not Toumaniantz's first experience with face tattoos. Last year he was forced to flea Belgium after tattooing 56 stars on 18-year-old Kimberley Vlaeminck's face. Vlaeminck claimed she only wanted three stars, but the rogue tattoo artist kept going when she fell asleep in the chair.

"It is terrible for me," Vlaeminck said at the time of the incident. "I cannot go out on to the street, I am so embarrassed. I just look horrible."

The teen has had laser treatment to try to remove the tattoo and threatened to sue Toumaniantz.

Lesya herself appears to be embracing her new look, posting photos of the tattoo to Facebook under the heading "All For Ruslan."

The Russian teen also allowed Toumaniantz to tattoo the words "All For Love" above her eyebrow. She claims she's just getting started.

"All my tattoos, they are few but I want 100% of the body covered in tattoo," she wrote on Facebook on Thursday.

Yesterday, she posted updated photos of the tattoo.

"Healed tattoo," read the caption.
