Leighton Meester is pregnant with her first child with husband Adam Brody

According to Us Weekly, the "Gossip Girl" star has been spotted sporting a sizable baby bump recently. The latest sighting was after a lunch date in Los Angeles with Brody, where the actress was seen wearing a tight gray tank top under a plaid dress shirt.

Meester and Brody met and fell in love while filming their 2011 movie, "The Oranges." According to an insider for Us Weekly, the pair were very friendly with each other right from the beginning.

"They were always close and friendly," said the insider.

 "She says she always had a crush on him!" another source claimed.

After their first movie together, they went on to star in the 2014 comedy "Life Partners."

Prior to their current careers, the two were on hit TV shows created by Josh Schwartz. Meester played New York teen socialite Blair Waldorf on "Gossip Girl," while Brody played Seth Cohen on "The O.C."

The couple, who have guarded their privacy very tightly secretly tied the knot secretly in February 2014. But they have been more open about their thoughts on having kids. Brody, for his part,  wants a large brood of children. In a Reddit AMA session, the actor joked that he wanted twelve children. For her part, Meester has talked about marriage and kids, and how she liked being a grown-up.

 "Most people I know are starting to get married," she said in an interview with Nylon magazine. "It'll be kids next."

"I like the grown-up stuff," she added. "I like having a house. I've got dogs."

Aside from starting their family, Meester came out with her album "Heartstrings" last October, and recently starred in "Of Mice and Men" in Broadway. Brody currently stars in "Bill and Billie."
