'Fashion Police' News: Giuliana Rancic Shares How Joan Rivers Would Have Reacted Regarding Zendaya Coleman Issue

"Fashion Police" news reported that Giuliana Rancic shared how the late Joan Rivers would have reacted to the show's issue with Zendaya Coleman.

According to a report from VH1, the E! mainstay is moving on from the controversy that resulted from a joke that she made about the Disney star. "Fashion Police" made news earlier this year after Giuliana Rancic said that Zendaya Coleman's dreadlocks at the 2015 Oscars made it look like she "smelled like patchouli oil or weed."

The statuesque host shared how the controversy probably would have been different if Joan Rivers were still alive.

"Joan gave me great advice. It's advice that I still live by, and I don't think it would be necessarily any different because she's always given me great advice," Giuliana Rancic said.

"Joan was just the best, she's very like, 'Eh, don't listen to what people say. Move forward, do your own thing. As long as you know you're a good person, that's all that matters.'"

Even though the backlash has died down, Giuliana Rancic still pointed out that her joke about Zendaya Coleman meant no harm.

"When you know your intentions are innocent and pure, you're OK. You're good with your soul and your soul is at ease," she said.

"That's kind of how I feel about it and I know Joan was the same way. If you know you're doing something wrong and you're a bad person, you'll have that anxiety. I don't have that anxiety because I'm a very chill person, I'm a very open person, I love everyone."

"For me, it was just a very unfortunate incident, a matter of the footage [being] edited, [and] it just blew into something that really I never intended it to be," Giuliana Rancic explained.

After the Zendaya Coleman issue, "Fashion Police" made even more news after hosts Kathy Griffin and Kelly Osbourne decided to quit the show. The latter even accused Giuliana Rancic of making excuses by blaming editing.

The remaining host of the hit fashion critique show shared what Joan Rivers would have told her if the late comedienne witnessed the controversial episode herself.

"I think Joan would say, 'You know what, G? You know the truth, just move forward,'" Giuliana Rancic said.
