Former Starbucks Manager Speaks Out After Viral ‘Anger Management’ [VIDEO]

When Starbucks customer Ruby Chen walked into the store in Elmhurst, NY, she didn’t expect to get yelled at the way she did in a video that has gone viral.

The manager that is seen yelling at Chen as well as other customers in the video, Melissa, has since quit, according to the news outlet pix 11.

“We do our very best to hire good people with good hearts who care about our customers,” the store’s manager stated, adding that Starbucks wouldn’t allow him to identify himself.

“This is a good person who did a bad thing.”

Melissa reportedly stated that the customer was being “abusive” to her and that she received no support from the district manager regarding the issue. She had reportedly been working at Starbucks for five years.

The videos, both part 1 and part 2, have each received more than 1 million views five days after being uploaded. The video was filmed by a customer that was standing behind Chen, according to Chen’s description on the YouTube clip.

Social media users have expressed disapproval of the manager’s reaction to the customer.

“Glad she got fired for this. What a psycho!,” wrote YouTube user David C. Baker.

Fellow social media user Christina Pham commented, “A lot of people are sharing this video on the Starbucks FB page. This type of behavior is ridiculous and is not acceptable.”
