Tom Cruise has been looking for a new wife, and he has done so by holding auditions, as if casting a role in a movie.

According to The Hollywood Gossip, the movie star, with the help of the Church of Scientology, has been allegedly scouting around for wife number four with specific characteristics that would meet his standards and to restore his tarnished reputation.

According to the report, the new wife of the actor should first of all be shorter than him. She should also be beautiful and smart. There is also an alleged training program that she must undergo in order to know her role as Tom Cruise' new wife.

This is not the first time that Scientology has been accused of setting up an elaborate audition process for their most famous member. In 2012, Vanity Fair ran a story detailing the wife auditioning process that candidates go through if they wanted to date the movie star.

The article alleged that the process began in 2004, and it was allegedly overseen by Shelly Miscavige, the wife of Scientology head, David Miscavige. According to the piece, the candidates were first selected from among Scientology's members and then put through a series of interviews. 

Nazanin Boniadi, an Iranian born actress who was raised in London. was eventually chosen to be Tom Cruise' next wife. According to Vanity Fair, she was commanded to change different parts of her life that were deemed unsuitable by Scientology.

"In a month-long preparation in October 2004, she was audited every day, a process in which she told a high-ranking Scientology official her innermost secrets and every detail of her sex life, " the article said. "Boniadi allegedly was told to lose her braces, her red highlights, and her boyfriend."

"According to a knowledgeable source, she was shown confidential auditing files of her boyfriend to expedite a breakup," the article added.

Tom Cruise' previous wife Nicole Kidman, was not a Scientology member.
