‘Arrow’ Season 4 Spoilers: Harley Quinn Scrapped Says Willa Holland; Actress To Become The Next Heir To Ra's al Ghul?

Willa Holland, playing the role of Thea Quinn/Speedy, shared some "Arrow" season 4 spoilers in a recent interview. According to the actress, Harley Quinn may no longer appear in the show. Meanwhile, it seems like she will play a bigger role next season by becoming the next heir to Ra's al Ghul.

According to io9, Harley Quinn might have been actually played by Cassidy Alexa. However, in a report by Flickering Myth, Holland said that "Arrow" season 4 might have been Harley's debut but with the "Suicide Squad" movie announcement, the production team decided to drop the whole thing.

Moreover, the actress hinted that the Suicide Squad and ARGUS is less likely to appear from here on out in an interview at MCM London,

"Pertaining to all the movies that are being made and stuff like that in the comic book world, it's also taken a side away from the TV shows. Because we had the Suicide Squad and these things inside of it, ARGUS. We were going really heavily into that for a minute. And then, something must have come down from DC or some higher-up above that said "No, you must cease and desist because we're going to make it into a movie and we can't have anyone spoil that idea," Holland said.

"We did get to see that little pigtail and the ARGUS uniform and the little treat of Harley Quinn, and it just got ripped away. So if we could actually have Harley Quinn on the show, that would be amazing. But it's never going to happen," she added.

Meanwhile, it seems like a larger role is awaiting her in "Arrow" season 4 as Enstarz reported that she might be the next heir to Ra's al Ghul.

"I actually never even thought about that! Woah! Bomb dropped," she said.

"Who knows?" she said, "All I know is that Thea is trying to figure out what's happening to her or not happening to her since she has been resurrected from the Lazarus pit," she added.
