Keira Knightley welcomed her first baby with husband, musician, James Righton. People magazine reported that multiple sources were able to confirm this news.

The actress kept her pregnancy private in the beginning. The "Imitation Game" actress first revealed her pregnancy in December, when she was spotted sporting a sizable baby bump in the days leading up to the new year.

When the awards season rolled around, the actress wore dresses that concealed her baby bump. It will be recalled that Knightley was nominated for her role in "The Imitation Game."

But photos of the actress surfaced where she is seen wearing a black flowy dress in London, with her baby bump in full view.

During a guest appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres" show, the actress spoke about keeping things simple in her plans for the baby's birth. ""Sorry, but what is the plan apart from to get it out?" Knightley deadpanned. "There isn't an option to sort of keep it in, is there?"

"So, I'm assuming my plan is to get it out," she added."But apparently there's more to the plan than that."

No details yet have been revealed whether the baby is a boy or a girl, and what the baby's name is.

Earlier in the year, the 30-year-old actress did share her feelings about having a baby boy.

 "Somebody said to me the other day the problem with boys is - sorry this is horrible - but when you're changing their nappies you can get the wee in your face," she said. "But I never knew that before so it was terrifying."

And during the awards after parties she attended, the mom-to-be joked that she and her husband actually made a good team at these kinds of events.

"My husband's having a great time," she said. "I'm eating for two and he's drinking for two."
