GTX 980 Ti Release Date News And Specs: New reports say the GeForce GTX 980 Ti graphics card mau drop earlier than expected. According to rumors NVIDIA will release the GTX 980 Ti graphics card at Computex 2015 in Taipei. Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 Ti will be unleashed in less than two weeks, according to DMark Performance.

According to Videocardz, the GTX 980 Ti will launch before Computex, which starts on June 3rd. Review samples were reportedly sent to reviewers. Nvidia will hold an event for its Shield TV console on May 28, which might also be a good time to release the GTX 980 Ti.

Nvidia's upcoming release engages GM200-310 GPU,  which is a lower version than GTX Titan-X, according to online reports.

Korean website HWBattle reported that the GeForce GTX 980 Ti will come with 2,816 CUDA cores, less than the GTX Titan X, which has 3,072 CUDA cores on. The chip will have 176  of texture mapping units as opposed to the GTX Titan X, which has 192. The GTX 980 Ti will use the GM200-310 GPU, which is less powerful than the Titan card's GM200-400 GPU.

The GeForce GTX 980 Ti graphics will come with 6GB of VRAM on a 384-bit GDDR5 memory interface, and a TDP of around 250W.

The GTX 980 Ti will use a cut down version of the GM200 GPU found inside the GTX Titan X. The card will also be limited to 6GB of memory rather than 12GB like its older brother the GTX Titan X.
