Horses get excited when their birthday rolls around too.

JD the horse celebrated his birthday by blowing out the candles on his birthday cake like the horse champion that he is.

The blowing of the candles was an unexpected event for those singing for JD at Ithilien Stables, which is located just outside New York City.

“We sang JD the horse ‘Happy Birthday,’ but never imagined what happened next!.” wrote YouTube user imsarahthatsme in the description of the video.

The video and JD the horse (aka ’Southside’) are on its way to viral stardom as the 26-second clip has garnered over 80,000 views after only a day of being uploaded. The video has gathered nearly 500 likes.

The best part of the video has to be when JD grins, showing all of his teeth after blowing out his own candles.

JD already has a fan base among YouTube users all around.

The good people at Ithilien Stables, a full-service equestrian facility, are also getting the word out about how much fun they have at the New Jersey-based place.
