'The Flash' Season 2 Premiere Date Set On October 6? Cisco To Awaken His Vibe Persona?

For fans who can't wait to know "The Flash" season 2 premiere date, it seems like the much-awaited follow-up to the successful first season is coming on October 6. Meanwhile, his pals in S.T.A.R. Labs Cisco and Caitlyn might be joining him in the Superhero club.

Den of Geek suggested that "The Flash" season 2 premiere date might actually come in the first week of October.

"Every single season of 'Arrow' has premiered on the Wednesday night before the start of New York Comic Con. This year, New York Comic Con kicks off on Thursday, October 8th. Therefore, I'm pretty sure 'Arrow' season 4 will start on Wednesday, October 7th. And since last year, 'The Flash' premiered the night before the 'Arrow' season premiere; I have no reason to doubt that this year will follow the same pattern."

"I predict 'The Flash' season 2 will premiere on Tuesday October 6th. I'll update this with official word when I have it," said the website.

That means fans would have to wait four more months before they get their hands on a new episode. But for the meantime, "The Flash" season 2 will definitely have a lot in store for fans, like Barry's friends, Cisco and Caitlyn, becoming Meta-Humans as well.

"From the beginning, I knew that Caitlin Snow becomes Killer Frost. And I can't wait to suit up and duke it out with the boys!" she said.

And in the season finale, Eobard Thawne (Tom Cavanagh) tells Cisco Ramon (Carlo Valdes) that he was also affected by the particle accelerator and he is destined for a "great and honorable destiny." With that said, all signs point to Cisco revealing his Vibe persona in season 2.

Lastly, Grant Gustin has confirmed via TV Guide that the plot of "The Flash" season 2 will revolve on the Multiverse.

"What's fun about this show is that there's going to be multiple timelines as we move forward," Gustin said. "I think we're going to start showing Earth-One and Earth-Two in the near future. There will be kind of different dimensions going on."
