What To Expect On The Newest Android M? Specs To Have Android Pay, Improved Fingerprint Support And New USB C Supported

Following the events of the Google I/O event last week, the tech giant recently announced that they would be featuring the new Android M to be expected on the future releases of smartphones.

In a report by Pocket Lint, the previously held event showcased the full specs and features of the new Android M, which includes Android Pay, USB C support, improved fingerprint support and a whole lot more.

VP engineering of Android Dave Burke revealed at the keynote presentation that the Apple Pay would enable NFC payments paving the way for smartphone users to pay directly with their smartphones without opening any app.

In line with Android Pay, integration of native fingerprint support will be added to authorize users of app purchases just by using the fingerprint.

Furthermore, Google also added better stability for the phones with the new feature called Doze. It gives devices a much stable power support by giving the ability for phones to rest better every time smartphones are put to sleep.

In addition to this a new USB C support has been hinted that is speculated to come on the upcoming Nexus phone. This support is said to "come to a device near you soon" and is expected to break boundaries with a simple and effective device.

App permissions are also expected when installing an app. This feature would allow users to allow certain features like microphone use for an app. This could not only save energy but also memory for your device.

Specs for the Android M has been laid down and release date for the upcoming Android operating system that would follow the footsteps of lollipop is expected within the year. It has been said that the OS has been available for download for developers but will only be installed in Nexus 5, 6 and 9.
