Girls' Generation member Sooyoung has hit 2 million followers on Instagram in just four months since joining the image-sharing platform.

Sooyoung joined Instagram on February 15 and since her first self-taken picture on Valentine's Day, Sooyoung has managed to fill her account with a stream of photo updates which has helped her amass 2 million followers in a short span of time.

As of June 19, she currently has 372 posts on Instagram, which roughly translates to 3 posts a day over the last four months that her account has been active.

But Sooyoung is not the first Girls' Generation member to reach 2 million followers on Instagram.

Four other members have a larger following than Sooyoung on Instagram: Taeyeon with 4.2 million followers, Yuri with 2.3 million, Sunny with 2.2 million followers and Hyoyeon with 2.1 million.

Sooyoung has more followers than Tiffany with 1.9 million and Seohyun with 1.3 million.

Yoona is a notorious holdout among the group with no Instagram account.

Sooyoung's most recent Instagram posts include photos showing her and the girls traveling via Thai Airways. The group recently visited Thailand to shoot a new music video, and Sooyoung's photos during their stay in the island paradise showed palm trees, the sea and surf boards - suggesting what could be a beach concept for their summer comeback.
